August Drawing Jam






Activities undertaken:

* Exquisite Corspe game
* 1 x 3 m collaborative drawing
* Observational drawings of pears, mandarins, and each other
* Sharing and discussion of artbooks and strange seventies illustrations

This month's guest zine editor is Jared Irwin who gathered up our drawings at the end of the night to create the next zine to share with us in September.

Take my Word for it...

Opening: Thursday 14th August at 5:30pm
11 August – 16 August Tue to Fri 10am to 4pm, Sat 10am to 2pm , Arts Alive, 178a Charles St, Launceston.

Artsts: Sonja Brough,Tim Chatwin, Samuel Eddy, Vika Fiffta, Mairi Ward, Rowena Watson, Themis Wood, Janine Wright, Steven Wright

For this show, nine contemporary artists have been asked to provide works with no title or statement that would reflect the intention of their work, with writers then being invited to view one of the works each and to give a description or possible ‘meaning’ of the artwork.
